Getting out of the house can sometimes be hard, but it's always worth it. Going somewhere you've never been before can be fun. Thompsons Creek Dam was accessed on a 2 hr appointment (bit of a hike) and Windamere Dam was discovered during a longer monthly outing.
Admittedly it's not been much of a summer and there is lots of uncertainty around COVID, but if you are sensible, then discovering new places is still possible. Remember to wear your mask (N95 or surgical mask for best protection), keep 1.5 metres from others and use the hand sanitiser.
So make the most of every day. Take those opportunities to get out of your comfort zone and explore new places.
